US President Donald Trump rejected reports of military ammunition shortages and threatened anonymous media sources with prosecution.

US President Donald Trump has denied reports alleging that the United States faces a shortage of military ammunition amid ongoing conflict involving Iran.

Writing on Truth Social, Trump asserted that the American military maintains massive stockpiles of weaponry. He also threatened anonymous government sources who provided information to the media, warning that leakers could face prosecution and lengthy prison sentences.

The statements came after The Washington Post reported that Trump had questioned Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth regarding the state of US munitions reserves. According to the newspaper, concerns had been raised about whether depleted stockpiles could restrict future military operations.
