US policy toward Ukraine shifts toward defence cooperation alongside domestic immigration raids and disputes over military stockpiles.

United States relations with Ukraine have transitioned toward enhanced military cooperation, with Washington granting production licences for Patriot air defence systems following previous Oval Office tensions. The shift coincided with Kyiv intensifying deep strikes inside Russian territory.

Concurrently, US President Donald Trump rejected claims of domestic ammunition shortages connected to hostilities with Iran, warning leakers of severe legal penalties. Trump also acknowledged covertly switching aircraft after a NATO summit in Ankara due to Iranian threats, minimising concerns regarding staff remaining aboard Air Force One.

Domestically, federal immigration enforcement operations have detained family members of past Trump voters. Internationally, European allies expressed alarm over reports that future US military deployments could hinge on political allegiance to Washington.
