Tens of thousands of residents took to the streets in Palma de Mallorca to protest against mass tourism and rising housing costs during the peak summer holiday season. Demonstrators marched from Plaza de España to the cathedral, demanding strict caps on visitor numbers, measures against severe housing shortages, and solutions to worsening traffic congestion.

While the main rally proceeded largely without incident, tensions escalated near Antoni Maura street, leading to clashes between police officers and demonstrators.
