Tens of thousands protested in Palma de Mallorca against mass tourism, demanding visitor caps and housing solutions, before police intervened in late-night clashes.

Tens of thousands of residents took to the streets of Palma de Mallorca during peak holiday season to demonstrate against mass tourism. Organized by the civil initiative "Menys Turisme, Més Vida" under the banner "Mallorca at the limit," the march proceeded from Plaza de España through the city center to the cathedral. Demonstrators called for strict limits on visitor numbers, affordable housing, and relief from growing traffic congestion.

Following the main rally, clashes occurred near Antoni Maura street when police intervened. Medical personnel treated eight people for injuries, with two individuals, including a photographer, transferred to a hospital for minor injuries.
