Satellite imagery reveals strikes on Russian aerospace plants as frontline clashes intensify

Satellite imagery and open-source intelligence confirm damage to industrial infrastructure in Samara following recent Ukrainian missile and drone strikes. Visual evidence indicates impacts at production facilities associated with the Progress Rocket Space Centre, a manufacturer of Soyuz carrier rockets, and the adjacent Aviakor aviation plant. Regional Russian authorities reported a strike on an industrial facility amid wider aerial activity recorded across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions.
Concurrently, high-intensity ground combat persists across eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian military officials reported more than 250 engagements within 24 hours, highlighting repeated Russian assaults along the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors. Russian forces continue efforts to widen territorial control south of Dobropillia and pressure Ukrainian defensive lines east of the Oskil River near Kupiansk.
