Russian missile and drone strikes killed at least 15 people in the Kyiv region, while North Korean missile units reportedly deployed to Russia's Voronezh Oblast.

Russian forces launched an overnight barrage of ballistic missiles and attack drones targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region, resulting in at least 15 to 17 deaths and dozens of injuries. Ukrainian emergency services and local authorities confirmed extensive structural damage, including fires at commercial warehouses and residential sites across the capital area.

Concurrently, Ukrainian military intelligence reported the deployment of a North Korean missile detachment in Russia's Voronezh region, equipped with multiple mobile launchers and dozens of ballistic missiles intended to support Russian strike operations.

On the front lines, Ukrainian troops engaged Russian positions in Kupyansk and took Russian soldiers prisoner near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin signaled upcoming command changes within the armed forces and defense ministry.
