Russian strikes hit Kyiv region as North Korean missile unit deploys to Voronezh

Russian forces launched a series of missile and drone strikes overnight against Kyiv and the surrounding region, resulting in at least 15 to 17 deaths and dozens of injuries. Local authorities reported structural damage across the capital and suburbs, including burnt commercial warehouses and transport vehicles in the Bucha district.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian military intelligence reported that Russia has begun deploying a North Korean missile unit to the Voronezh region. The deployment reportedly includes six launchers and up to 120 ballistic missiles. On the front line near Kupyansk, Ukrainian forces engaged in close-quarters clearing operations against entrenched Russian troops. Additionally, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced upcoming leadership reshuffles within Russia's defense ministry and armed forces.
