Russian missile strikes killed up to 17 people in the Kyiv region as a North Korean ballistic missile detachment reportedly deployed in Russia's Voronezh region.

Russian forces launched an overnight barrage of ballistic missiles and strike drones targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region, leaving between 15 and 17 people dead and up to 51 injured. Emergency services reported warehouse fires, vehicle damage, and widespread structural destruction across multiple districts, including Bucha.

Concurrently, Ukrainian military intelligence and international reports confirmed that a North Korean missile detachment has begun deployment in Russia's Voronezh region. The unit is reportedly equipped with mobile launchers and up to 120 ballistic missiles intended to support Russian military strikes on Ukraine.

On the front lines, Ukrainian troops conducted clearing operations against Russian infantry in Kupyansk and captured soldiers near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. In Moscow, President Vladimir Putin announced upcoming structural leadership changes across the Defense Ministry and the armed forces.
