Poland celebrated Armed Forces Day with major military parades in Warsaw and Gdynia, as Prime Minister Donald Tusk outlined key pillars for national security and defense preparedness.

Poland commemorated Armed Forces Day on 15 August, honoring the 1920 Battle of Warsaw with a major military parade in the capital and naval displays in Gdynia. The Warsaw procession showcased personnel, armored vehicles, and flypasts, following dress rehearsals along the Wisłostrada.

Speaking at naval events in Gdynia, Prime Minister Donald Tusk outlined strategic pillars necessary to deter potential conflict, emphasizing secure borders, robust alliances, military investments, and economic strength. Tusk also visited the PGZ Naval Shipyard during the construction of the frigate Wicher under the Miecznik program, affirming that Poland intends to become a "maritime power." Military leadership confirmed full operational readiness for the observances, describing the capital display as one of the largest in national history.
