NATO commander outlines strategy against potential Russian threat at Warsaw forum

NATO’s top commander presented a defense strategy at the Warsaw Security Forum as Polish leadership urged decisive action against Russian threats.
At the Warsaw Security Forum, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Alexus Grynkewich, unveiled a strategic framework designed to counter potential Russian aggression. Outlining a approach to "block, blunt and break" an invasion, Grynkewich warned that any attack on the alliance would prove "utterly futile." He emphasized that European allies would defend member territory even if United States forces were engaged in other regions.
Polish leaders at the conference reinforced the call for heightened defense readiness. Prime Minister Donald Tusk described Russia as a serious threat, asserting that peace requires deterring aggressors with all available forces. Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski similarly advocated for putting geopolitical pressure on Moscow rather than Kyiv to resolve the war in Ukraine.
