Housing prices across the European Union rise by 60 percent since 2010

Residential property prices across the EU grew by 60.5% between 2010 and mid-2025, with Baltic nations recording increases above 160%.
Housing prices across the European Union recorded an average surge of 60.5 percent between 2010 and the second quarter of 2025, according to recent statistical data.
The increase has been particularly pronounced in Baltic and Eastern European member states. Estonia experienced the sharpest rise within the region, with residential property values escalating by 250 percent over the fifteen-year period. Lithuania registered a 202 percent increase, while prices in Latvia climbed by 162 percent. In Poland, home values more than doubled, rising by 104 percent.
The rapid growth in property costs has intensified concerns regarding affordability, as wage growth across several EU nations continues to lag behind real estate price appreciation.
