Housing prices across the European Union recorded an average surge of 60.5 percent between 2010 and the second quarter of 2025, according to recent statistical data.

The increase has been particularly pronounced in Baltic and Eastern European member states. Lithuania registered a 202 percent increase, while prices in Latvia climbed by 162 percent. In Poland, home values more than doubled, rising by 104 percent.

The rapid growth in property costs has intensified concerns regarding affordability, as wage growth across several EU nations continues to lag behind real estate price appreciation.
