German authorities investigate an explosive drone at Leipzig airport while Moscow comes under a massive 184-drone Ukrainian barrage.

German authorities are investigating an explosive-laden drone discovered at Leipzig/Halle Airport near Ukrainian transport aircraft carrying military supplies. German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt indicated a state actor was likely behind the incident, which investigators consider a potential hybrid attack intended to trigger an explosion. Terrorism expert Peter Neumann noted that "Russia is of course the main suspect" given the target and methods involved.

Concurrently, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that Ukrainian forces launched at least 184 drones toward the Russian capital and surrounding areas on Tuesday. Sobyanin stated that Russian air defense systems intercepted the majority of the incoming aircraft, with 18 shot down on their direct approach to the city.
