Following Radu Musteață's departure, Forța Fermierilor has proposed Alexandr Slusari for Moldovan agriculture minister amid ongoing corruption proceedings.

Following the resignation of Moldovan Minister of Agriculture Radu Musteață just three days after taking office, the Forța Fermierilor agricultural association has formally nominated Alexandr Slusari to Prime Minister Vasile Tofan for the position. Slusari stated he is honored by the proposal, though direct discussions with the prime minister have not yet taken place.

Concurrently, Moldovan authorities advanced several legal proceedings. Chișinău court magistrates placed two suspects in pre-trial detention and a third under house arrest regarding alleged corruption and abuse of office at state air navigation enterprise Moldatsa. In a separate case, two former tax inspection officials were convicted of trading in influence after accepting 22,000 lei to sway Supreme Court rulings. Additionally, police reported a fatal quad bike crash in Ungheni district involving a 17-year-old driver.
