US official denies Trump restricted Ukraine's access to SpaceX defense technology

A senior United States official has refuted claims made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding access to SpaceX’s Starshield satellite technology. Zelenskyy stated that former US President Donald Trump placed restrictions on Kyiv's usage of the system, which Ukrainian forces rely on to intercept Russian drones. However, the American official denied these assertions, maintaining that no such limitations were imposed on Ukraine's access to the defense capability. Starshield, a satellite network developed by SpaceX for military and defense applications, plays a critical role in supporting Ukraine's air defense capabilities against ongoing Russian drone strikes.
