US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over a plot targeting supporters of Ukraine, while Denmark reported domestic sabotage attacks by Russian actors.

United States federal authorities have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating an international network to execute targeted assassinations and sabotage operations. An indictment unsealed in Manhattan federal court alleges the suspects hired operatives across Europe and North America to surveil and attack targets supporting Ukraine, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian actors carried out physical sabotage against domestic defense contractors manufacturing military supplies for Ukrainian forces. Danish authorities characterized the incidents as an escalation in Moscow's hybrid campaign against Western nations aiding Kyiv.
