US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over plots targeting Ukraine allies, while Denmark reported domestic defense firm sabotage.

US federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating a Kremlin-directed campaign of sabotage and targeted assassinations across Europe and North America.

According to the Department of Justice, the network recruited individuals globally to surveil targets, execute physical attacks—including a June 2024 incident in Prague—and plan killings of figures supporting Ukraine. The five charged individuals remain at large.

Separately, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service revealed that Russian operatives conducted physical sabotage against Danish defense contractors producing equipment for Ukrainian forces, framing the actions as a major escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare campaign aimed at undermining Western assistance to Kyiv.
