US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination plots against Ukraine allies, while Denmark reported sabotage against defense firms.

US federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of leading a Kremlin-backed campaign of targeted killings and physical sabotage across Europe and the United States. According to the Department of Justice, the suspects recruited a global network to monitor and attack individuals aligned with Ukraine, including an operation conducted in Prague in June 2024. All five accused individuals remain at large.

In parallel, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian operatives executed physical sabotage targeting Danish defense manufacturers providing supplies to Ukrainian military forces, describing the acts as a significant escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare tactics.
