US prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian agents accused of plotting global assassinations, as Denmark reports Russian sabotage against defense firms.

US federal prosecutors in New York have charged five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with running a covert global network aimed at assassinating and sabotaging supporters of Ukraine. According to the unsealed indictment, the operatives recruited individuals across North America and Europe to surveil and execute attacks against targets aligned with Kyiv. Officials highlighted a June 2024 assault in Prague as part of the campaign. All five suspects remain at large.

Simultaneously, Danish intelligence officials reported that Russian actors conducted physical sabotage against domestic defense firms supplying equipment to Ukrainian forces, characterizing the acts as a clear escalation in Moscow's hybrid strategy.
