US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over global plot, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage on defense firms.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed an indictment against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating a global campaign of sabotage and targeted assassinations. The Department of Justice alleges the network recruited individuals in North America and Europe to surveil and attack targets supporting Ukraine, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five suspects currently remain at large.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian actors carried out physical sabotage operations targeting domestic defense contractors manufacturing supplies for Ukrainian forces. Danish officials described the acts as a notable escalation in Moscow's ongoing hybrid warfare campaign intended to undermine Western military assistance to Kyiv.
