US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents with plotting targeted killings, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage on defense firms.

United States prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian intelligence agents with conspiring to carry out assassinations and sabotage across Europe and North America. According to federal indictments unsealed in New York, the suspects recruited an international network to surveil and target individuals and businesses supporting Ukraine, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five defendants remain at large.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian operatives executed targeted sabotage against Danish defense companies manufacturing military supplies for Ukraine. Danish officials described the incidents as a notable escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy aimed at disrupting Western military aid. Russian officials have not publicly commented on the charges or allegations.
