US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian intelligence agents with organizing assassination and sabotage plots targeting Ukraine supporters in Western nations.

Federal prosecutors in the United States have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of organizing a campaign of targeted assassinations and sabotage. According to the Department of Justice, the network financed and directed individuals to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks against supporters of Ukraine across North America and Europe, including an operation in Prague in mid-2024. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian operatives executed targeted sabotage against domestic defense contractors supplying military hardware to Kyiv. Danish officials described the operations as an escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy. Kremlin officials have consistently denied involvement in state-sponsored attacks.
