US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination and sabotage plots, while Danish intelligence reported Russian attacks on defense firms.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed indictments against five alleged Russian intelligence agents accused of orchestrating a global campaign of sabotage and assassination. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the network recruited individuals in the United States and Europe to surveil and target individuals and entities supporting Ukraine, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian operatives carried out targeted sabotage against Danish defense companies supplying military equipment to Ukraine. Danish officials characterized the actions as an escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare operations designed to disrupt Western aid. Moscow has not issued a public response to the allegations or charges.
