US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination and sabotage plots, as Danish intelligence reported hybrid attacks on defense suppliers.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of directing a global campaign of targeted assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine. According to the Department of Justice, the network financed operatives internationally to conduct surveillance and execute violent attacks, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five defendants currently remain at large.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated at a Copenhagen security conference that Russian agents engaged in targeted sabotage against Danish defense contractors providing military equipment to Kyiv. Danish officials characterized these incidents as a notable escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare campaign against Western nations supporting Ukraine.
