US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian operatives over plots targeting Ukraine allies, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage against its defense firms.

United States federal prosecutors in Manhattan have formally charged five alleged Russian intelligence operatives in connection with a Kremlin-directed campaign involving targeted assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine in North America and Europe. According to the Department of Justice, the network financed individuals internationally to conduct surveillance and execute violent attacks, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five defendants remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service revealed at a Copenhagen security conference that Russian agents carried out targeted sabotage against Danish defense contractors supplying military hardware to Kyiv. Danish officials described the actions as a major escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy against Western allies.
