US prosecutors unseal charges against five alleged Russian agents plotting attacks on Ukraine allies, as Denmark reports Russian sabotage targeting its defense sector.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating targeted killings and sabotage operations across Europe and the U.S. According to the indictment unsealed in Manhattan, the network recruited operatives globally to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks against individuals supporting Ukraine, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated at a Copenhagen conference that Russian state actors carried out physical sabotage against Danish defense companies supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish officials described the attacks on defense contractors as a significant escalation in Russia's ongoing hybrid warfare campaign against Western allies.
