Ukrainian forces report major territorial gains along the Oleksandrivka axis as new military leadership implements command reforms and counter-intelligence operations.

Ukrainian forces have reported their largest territorial recovery since late 2022 along the Oleksandrivka axis following an extended operational blackout. Concurrently, Ukrainian strikes targeted Russian naval assets in Novorossiysk, including two frigates equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles.

These battlefield updates coincide with significant internal restructuring under newly appointed military commander Mykhailo Drapatyi, who is moving to overhaul command hierarchies. Meanwhile, former commander-in-chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi asserted that Ukraine will not join NATO, arguing that the alliance maintains outdated operational doctrines unsuited for modern warfare.

Domestically, the Security Service of Ukraine announced it has thwarted dozens of Russian intelligence operations attempting to target military personnel through fraudulent online dating profiles.
