Ukraine claims Russian personnel losses exceed 1.45 million
Ukraine's General Staff reported that total Russian military personnel casualties have surpassed 1.45 million since the start of the invasion, including 1,390 over the past 24 hours.
Ukraine's General Staff reported on August 3 that Russian military personnel casualties have reached approximately 1,450,510 since the start of the full-scale invasion. According to the daily morning update from Kyiv, Russian forces suffered 1,390 personnel casualties in the preceding 24 hours.
The Ukrainian military command also detailed recent combat equipment losses. Over the last day, Russian forces reportedly lost one tank, five armored combat vehicles, 80 artillery systems, and eight multiple launch rocket systems. These daily casualty figures provided by combatants cannot be independently verified during ongoing military operations.
