Ten climbers feared missing or dead following avalanche on Pakistan's Broad Peak

Three climbers have been confirmed dead and seven remain missing after an avalanche struck an international expedition on Pakistan's Broad Peak.
An avalanche struck Broad Peak in Pakistan's Karakoram mountain range on Thursday, hitting a ten-member international climbing expedition led by former Royal Marine Nirmal Purja. Communication with the group was lost shortly after the disaster occurred.
Search and rescue operations were launched on the 8,047-metre mountain. Rescuers have recovered the bodies of three mountaineers: Nadhira Ahmed Abdullah Al Harthy from Oman, Pur Bahadur Gurun from Nepal, and Mallory Geis from the United States. Seven members of the team, including Purja, remain missing as search efforts continue.
