Russia vows retaliation over Ukrainian strikes inside its territory

Moscow warned Kyiv and its Western allies of retaliation over strikes in Russia, as Ukrainian drone operations continue around Crimea.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova strongly condemned recent Ukrainian attacks on targets within Russia, warning that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his "Western puppeteers" will pay dearly. The statement follows ongoing Ukrainian drone operations aimed at isolating Crimea by targeting Russian naval assets in the Black Sea, as well as a deadly Russian missile strike on a military exhibition near Kyiv that killed 10 people.
Separately, United States airstrikes on Iran paused for a second consecutive night. American media outlets reported potential ammunition shortages affecting U.S. military stocks following nearly five months of conflict in the Middle East.
