Russian and Ukrainian forces traded heavy overnight attacks, causing civilian casualties in eastern Ukraine, blackouts in Chernihiv, and damage near Moscow.

Russian and Ukrainian forces launched widespread strikes overnight, causing civilian casualties, infrastructure damage, and extensive destruction across multiple regions.

According to Russian officials, air defense systems intercepted more than 200 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles during a massive drone assault targeting the Moscow region, which reportedly left three people injured. Concurrently, Ukrainian regional authorities stated that Russian aerial bombardment and artillery fire killed at least three people and injured nine others in eastern Ukraine, primarily in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Meanwhile, power infrastructure damage in the northern Chernihiv region left approximately 99,000 customers without electricity.

In Donetsk Oblast, sustained Russian shelling and guided bomb attacks have severely damaged Druzhkivka, a key settlement anchoring the Kramatorsk defensive line, where the local population has dropped from 56,000 to under 4,000 residents.
