Romanian Member of the European Parliament Eugen Tomac has affirmed that Romania possesses effective bilateral mechanisms to support and accelerate Moldova's European Union accession process.
In recent remarks, Tomac emphasized that Bucharest can offer crucial political, strategic, and technical assistance by leveraging expertise gained during its own EU integration journey. He noted that Moldova's accession process has reached a point where targeted cooperation with Romania can significantly help Chișinău fulfill necessary administrative standards and advance its official negotiation milestones.
