Members of British band Massive Attack face a Singapore entry ban after displaying a Palestinian flag on stage during a concert.

Two members of the British trip-hop group Massive Attack have been banned from re-entering Singapore after displaying a Palestinian flag during a recent concert. Authorities issued a formal warning to the musicians following their performance on Wednesday, citing strict local legislation regarding unauthorized political displays.

Singapore strictly regulates the public exhibition of foreign national emblems, requiring prior permits or official government exemptions. The city-state maintains tight controls on political demonstrations and sensitive international issues, including the conflict in Gaza. Local officials treat public expressions related to foreign religious and geopolitical conflicts with heightened scrutiny, noting that roughly 15 percent of Singapore's population is Muslim.

The musicians have not yet issued an official statement regarding the entry ban.
