LVMH posted a 3% increase in second-quarter revenue, supported by strong demand in the US, South Korea, and Japan.

French luxury giant LVMH posted a 3% increase in second-quarter revenue, signaling resilience despite ongoing disruptions across the global luxury sector. The growth was primarily driven by strong demand in the United States, South Korea, and Japan, offsetting weaker performance in other regions.

Addressing market concerns regarding a prolonged downturn in high-end retail, Chief Financial Officer Cécile Cabanis noted that some analysts had falsely claimed "the luxury market was permanently stalled, and that it was absolutely necessary to gain market share to grow." The latest sales figures suggest that key international markets continue to support expansion for the world's largest luxury group.
