L3Harris partners with Lockheed Martin and US defense officials to boost THAAD production

L3Harris has reached a framework agreement with Lockheed Martin and U.S. defense officials to quadruple propulsion output for the THAAD missile defense system over seven years.
L3Harris Technologies has signed a preliminary framework agreement with Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Department of War to significantly scale up propulsion manufacturing for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system.
Under the multi-year arrangement, the defense contractor aims to quadruple its output of key propulsion components over a seven-year period. The agreement comes as defense agencies seek to expand missile defense capabilities in response to rising global security demands. Officials expect to finalize the full contract details later this year.
