Indian-flagged cargo ship sinks off Yemen after projectile attack

An Indian-flagged vessel sank off the coast of Yemen after a projectile attack. All 14 crew members were safely rescued by the Yemeni coast guard.
An Indian-flagged wooden vessel, the MSV Faize Noore Oliya, capsized and sank off the coast of Yemen following an attack by a projectile or drone boat.
All 14 crew members, including 13 Indian nationals, were rescued by the Yemeni coast guard and brought to the port of Mocha. The ship had been traveling from Djibouti before being targeted in the Red Sea.
Indian Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal condemned the "unprovoked attack" and promised additional measures to safeguard maritime workers in the region.
While Yemeni government officials and media reports suspect Houthi rebels were responsible for the strike, the militant group did not immediately claim responsibility.
