Amnesty International warns against Indian military exports to Israel
Amnesty International has released a report warning that Indian exports of military components to Israel risk complicity in human rights violations.
Amnesty International has issued a report alleging that India supplied thousands of military components to Israeli defense contractors. The human rights organization warned that these exports expose New Delhi to legal and moral risks regarding potential complicity in human rights violations against Palestinians in Gaza.
According to the watchdog, military hardware and components exported by Indian entities to Israeli suppliers could be utilized in ongoing armed conflict. Amnesty urged the Indian government to immediately suspend all transfers of arms, ammunition, and dual-use defense material to Israel to prevent civilian casualties and adhere to international humanitarian obligations.
