Airbus reported record second-quarter aircraft deliveries alongside a historic 24-hour non-stop test flight from Melbourne to Toulouse.

European aerospace manufacturer Airbus reported strong first-half financial results, driven by a record number of commercial aircraft deliveries in the second quarter. The company's performance significantly exceeded analyst expectations, prompting a positive response on the stock market.

Concurrently, Airbus set a new aviation endurance record after a specially modified A350 completed a non-stop test flight from Melbourne, Australia, to Toulouse, France. The continuous flight across three continents and two oceans lasted 24 hours and 24 minutes without refueling, demonstrating long-range capabilities aimed at future ultra-long-haul commercial passenger routes.
