Western intelligence suspects Russia shared AI drone technology with Iran

Western intelligence agencies suspect that Russia has provided Iran with artificial intelligence technology to enhance modern attack drones. Citing Israeli sources, reports indicate that Moscow is already deploying AI-equipped strike drones in its war against Ukraine. These autonomous systems can independently identify pre-set targets while reducing the risk of early detection by defense systems.

The suspected transfer highlights growing military cooperation between Russia and Iran, which have expanded their strategic partnership throughout the Ukrainian conflict.
