Ukrainian military personnel cite institutional challenges across the armed forces, including indefinite deployments, supply gaps, medal allocation, and mobilization practices.

Ukrainian military personnel and commentators have raised concerns over persistent institutional challenges within the nation's armed forces, urging structural reforms to address troop fatigue, logistical gaps, award distribution, and mobilization fairness.

Speaking to Radio Svoboda, military surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel warned that troops face indefinite deployment without rotations, cautioning that unaddressed exhaustion risks severe demoralization. Meanwhile, drone unit commander Yuriy Butusov told NV that frontline leaders still lack centralized logistical support, forcing commanders to secure unit supplies independently.

Additionally, an investigation by Ukrainska Pravda revealed that military decorations are frequently allocated to headquarters staff rather than frontline soldiers. Serviceman Pavlo Kazarin also told Liga net that reforming medical evaluation boards and deferment procedures is essential to establishing a fairer draft.
