Volodymyr Zelenskyy claims Russia suffered 225,500 casualties this year while preparing to receive up to 30,000 North Korean troops.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on social media that intelligence reports indicate Russia is conducting a large-scale mobilization drive this autumn. According to Zelenskyy, approximately 221,000 personnel have been enlisted into the Russian armed forces so far this year.
During the same seven-month timeframe, Zelenskyy reported that Russian military casualties reached nearly 225,500 personnel, including an estimated 131,000 deaths.
