Ukrainian military figures raise concerns over rotation, supplies, and mobilization fairness

Ukrainian servicemen and commentators have drawn attention to several operational and administrative challenges within the armed forces, urging reforms to improve morale and efficiency.

Frontline surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel warned that prolonged deployments without rotation leave troops feeling abandoned, describing soldiers as effectively becoming "serfs" for civilians while receiving no replacements. Concurrently, drone company commander Yurii Butusov stated that unit leaders must independently resolve basic supply issues daily due to a lack of institutional accountability.

Resource distribution and administrative policies have also faced criticism. A report highlighted by Ukrainska Pravda noted that military awards disproportionately benefit command staff rather than frontline soldiers. Additionally, serviceman Pavlo Kazarin advocated for reforming military medical commissions and deferment procedures to enhance fairness in mobilization.
