President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of declining air defense supplies while the EU delivered €1.4 billion from frozen Russian assets and Kyiv prepared for further integration steps.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that Western deliveries of air defense interceptors have dropped to one-third of the levels received in previous years. Speaking during a coordination call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Zelensky warned that shortages of systems like US-made Patriots are becoming critical amid relentless Russian drone and missile strikes targeting major cities and strategic infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Kyiv reported progress on its European Union accession path, asserting that all conditions have been met to open four new negotiation clusters. Financial support for Ukraine also continues, with the European Union delivering a fifth transfer of €1.4 billion generated from immobilized Russian central bank assets. These funds will be directed toward defense procurement and economic stabilization efforts.
