Sudanese army drone strike kills 35 at Darfur court, rights group says

At least 35 people died in North Darfur after a drone strike hit a local court during proceedings, an independent rights group reported.
At least 35 people were killed on Sunday following a drone strike on a community court in North Darfur, according to a legal rights organization.
The attack targeted the village of Garra al-Zawaya, an area currently controlled by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The independent group Emergency Lawyers reported that the strike occurred during the afternoon while civilians were gathered for local court proceedings. Multiple other individuals sustained injuries in the bombardment.
The rights group attributed the drone strike to the Sudanese regular army, which has been engaged in a violent power struggle against the RSF since April 2023. Military officials have not publicly responded to the allegations.
