Russian missile and drone strikes hit several Ukrainian cities as domestic authorities conduct anti-corruption raids linked to the presidential office.

Russian air attacks struck Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv overnight, causing at least a dozen fatalities and widespread infrastructural damage. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the coordinated barrage of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones targeted civilian areas, pledging a response. Simultaneously, air defenses intercepted several Ukrainian drones directed toward Moscow.

Domestically, Ukrainian authorities conducted anti-corruption searches at the residence of an aide in the presidential administration as part of a money-laundering inquiry. Former government official Mykhailo Fedorov urged holding wartime national elections, stating that democracy must not remain hostage to Russia. In parliament, lawmakers prepared to vote on confirming Yevhenii Khmara as the new defense minister.
