Russian drone strikes hit Kyiv after President Zelensky addressed the UN, while EU leaders warned Moscow over suspected sabotage incidents in Germany.

Russian drone strikes have continued to target Kyiv, injuring at least one civilian following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s address to the United Nations General Assembly, where he referred to Russian leadership as "patient zero" of the conflict. The aerial bombardment aligns with Moscow's stated campaign to systematically degrade Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Concurrently, Ukrainian forces have maintained long-range strikes on Russian petroleum facilities, disrupting domestic fuel supplies.

Meanwhile, European officials are responding to suspected Russian interference. German authorities identified two suspects tied to Moscow after explosive drones were found in Leipzig. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that the bloc would not tolerate attacks on EU soil.
