Russian aerial strikes target Kyiv and regional centers, leaving at least 20 dead

Russian forces executed their third large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv in a week, resulting in at least 15 to 17 fatalities and dozens of injuries across the capital and its surrounding region. The overnight barrage triggered severe fires in residential buildings, warehouses, and industrial facilities. Local officials referred to the incident as "one of the most tragic attacks so far."

Concurrently, strikes targeted several other Ukrainian regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, where authorities recorded five deaths and 16 injuries following nearly 60 bombardments. Among the casualties were three people, including an eight-year-old child, killed when a drone struck a gas station near Kryvyi Rih. Additional strikes involving approximately 180 drones hit Odesa, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia.
