A vote recount in Berlin assigned a direct mandate to the AfD while Forsa polling shows Die Linke leading overall.

A data transmission error during Berlin's state election has altered the final composition of the Abgeordnetenhaus. A recalculation in the Spandau district reassigned a direct mandate from Christian Democratic Union (CDU) candidate Bettina Meißner to Alternative for Germany (AfD) candidate Tommy Tabor. The correction also reduced the parliament's total size by five seats due to overhang adjustments.

Meanwhile, broader political dynamics highlight shifting voter trends. Polling by Forsa places Die Linke in the lead at 22 percent, propelled largely by strong support among young voters. Conversely, voter participation remains lower among residents with a migration background in districts like Neukölln, though some young voters of Turkish origin are reportedly gravitating toward the AfD due to concerns over crime and economic instability.
