The female victim killed in Saturday's vehicular attack during Berlin's Christopher Street Day parade has been identified as a visitor from Poland, according to Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner.
The assault in Tiergarten park, near the Brandenburg Gate, left one person dead and up to 29 people injured. German authorities identified the driver as Abdul B., a 21-year-old man of Lebanese origin linked to Islamist extremist circles, who was later shot dead by security forces following an intensive manhunt.
