Glens of Antrim Potatoes has ceased trading and appointed administrators, resulting in job losses for most of its 95 employees in Northern Ireland.
Northern Ireland business Glens of Antrim Potatoes has ceased trading after entering administration, placing most of its workforce at risk of redundancy. Joint administrators Stuart Irwin, Ian Leonard, and Robin Coughlin from financial firm Interpath were appointed to manage the company on Monday.
The firm operated across sites in Cushendall and Ballymena, employing 95 staff members prior to the appointment. Following the arrival of administrators, the company stopped trading, with the majority of employees losing their jobs immediately as operations were wound down.
